Izzabella Lace CD RN TT HIT CGC - Soon after
Izzabella finished her Championship, she
starting having seizures. Diagnosis, epilepsy.
Her show career ended and she was never bred.
She was an amazing dog who got along with
everyone. She had breakthru seizures that would
sometimes cluster for 2-3 days. She always
bounced back. These last 10 weeks she was on
CBD oil that brought new life to her. Friday
night, Sept 2 was the eve of her 10nth
birthday. She starting to have seizures. She
would have been 10 on Sat, Sept 3rd. We made a
decision to say good bye so she would not have
to have seizures on her birthday. Friday, she
spent at the rehab center greeting everyone and
going for a few walks, all of us unknowing what
was to come. It was a great day for her. Good
Bye my sweet girl, we will always miss you,
especially your buddy Rebel. You never deserved
that diagnosis.

April 29, 2016 - Cheshire CT
Connecticut State Latin Day was held April 29, 2016 in Cheshire CT. There were over 40 schools from across the state that teach Latin and 2000 Latin students in attendance for the day.
Stratford High School was sponsored by Amy Harkenreader and Linda Chehy.
The workshop was presented by Laura Wells. Assisted by Cindy Richardson and Diane Andrade.
The dogs used in the workshop were. AmGrCh / CanCH Wllslands Salt Rocks St James Guinez RE TT CGC, "Bubba", Wllslands Imagine Running with the Rebel, "Rebel" and Wllslands Goddess of Badlands, "Dakota"
The workshop presentation discussed the history and development of the rottweiler from a mastiff type dog used for herding and guarding by Roman soldiers as they moved thru Switzerland into Southern Germany, to the development of the present day breed dog. This presentation focused on the Rottweiler as a carting dog for the Roman soldiers and builders with a live carting demonstration with Bubba.
The response was overwhelming and the day was enjoyed by students and teachers alike! If the history aspect of the presentation was not remembered, the dogs certainly were. I think everyone walked away with a different perspective of the breed. Bubba, Rebel and Dakota were truly great ambassadors that day.
